Holidays/Closures

  • Buds & Blossoms will be closed on:

    • New Years Eve
    • New Years Day
    • Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday
    • President’s Day
    • Monday after Easter Sunday
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Black Friday
    • Christmas Day
    • Day After Christmas Day**
    • Two weeks paid vacation (one scheduled and one to be announced 60 days in advance)
    • Parent or child illness
    • Unavoidable closings, like snow days,* power failure, water shut down and other types of inclement weather conditions.
    • 5 personal days/sick/professional days

    Payment required when children are not in care/holidays and vacations.

    *Buds and Blossoms Montessori Family Child Care follows the Howard County Public Schools inclement weather policy unless otherwise notified the morning of inclement weather day.

    **Subject to change according to which day of the week the holiday falls on (beginning of the week or end of the week).

We are a Montessori Family Child Care that serves the needs of children—infant to 5 years of age. We are conveniently located at the intersection of Route 29 and Route 32 in Columbia, Maryland. Maryland State Certified.
